Common Cents Coins and Collectibles has served the needs of collectors and other owners of valuable items for nearly 20 years. Our staff has more than 50 years of combined experience in the field. We buy and sell coins and collectibles, host online auctions, and make appraisals for estates and for insurance purposes. And through our business, we build strong relationships with our customers so that we can continue to serve your needs well into the future.
Buying and Selling Coins and Collectibles
We buy and sell not only rare or valuable coins but also precious metals such as gold and silver, jewelry, sports and military memorabilia, paper currency, and watches. Common items we buy include Silver dollars, gold coins and bars, silver bullion bars and coins, scrap gold and silver, antique watches, entire sports card collections, and mint sets. We pay fair market value based not only on the item’s age but also on its condition or quality. We also have for sale many of the same kinds of items that we buy. Buying and selling takes place Tuesday through Saturday in our store. Items for sale may also be found in our online auctions and store 24/7 on eBay.
Online Auctions and Sales
Selling coins and collectibles online since 2008, we post items for sale and for auction on our eBay store, Common Cents Coins Cincinnati. Items for sale are listed as “Buy It Now,” while auction items are listed at auction for 3-7 days and go to the highest bidder. Some of the online sale and auction items are pieces from our store inventory while others are on consignment from customers. Common Cents Coins and Collectibles will post your item for sale or for auction on eBay for a reasonable fee, giving your sale items exposure to an online audience of hundreds of customers.
Appraisals for Estates and Insurance
Our knowledgeable staff makes fair and accurate appraisals of individual pieces or whole collections, whether, for an estate value, insurance need, or to satisfy your curiosity. Appraisals are done both on-site in our store or at your location. An hourly fee applies to appraisals completed for insurance and estates. Additionally, we are certified coin appraisers with certification from the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). This means we can accurately identify a coin’s grade (its condition) and its authentication (is it real) based on universally accepted coin-grading standards.
Building Strong Relationships
Finally, the ultimate mission of our business is to build strong relationships with our customers. We do this by making the buying and selling process transparent. In this way, you can make informed decisions about the valuable items you wish to purchase or sell. That is the main reason you can trust our seasoned, exceptional staff with more than 50 years of combined experience in coins and collectibles. As experts in the markets we serve, we understand that each customer and each deal we make requires our personalized attention. We invite you to stop by and visit us today!
